Dr. Bijan Safai is an internationally recognized dermatologist, scientist, and a leading expert whose groundbreaking contributions have profoundly shaped several fields that intersect with dermatology, including: immunology, microbiology, and skin oncology. 

  • He is a board-certified dermatologist with over 40 years of experience.

  • For over 20 years, he has been both a professor and the Chairman of the Dermatology Department at New York Medical College

  • He has served as the founding president of Physician Affiliates Group NY (consortium of nearly 3,000 independent physicians)

  • Has a prolific list of publications of over 200 manuscripts in premier journals, books and monographs

For Medicare & Other Out-of-Network Insurances:

While Dr. Safai is out-of-network with some insurances, our clinic submits a claim on your behalf as a courtesy. At the time of your visit, we will request payment of private fees and reimburse you accordingly with your insurance.
